Valentine’s Day Rice Krispie Hearts
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 6 Cups Miniature Marshmallows
- 6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® cereal
- red food coloring
Instructions
- In large saucepan melt 3 TB butter over low heat. Add 3 cups marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add 3 cups KELLOGG’S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal. Stir until well coated. Press onto parchment paper. Set aside. Now repeat in a large saucepan melt 3 TB butter over low heat. Add 3 cups marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Add red food coloring until you have desired color. Remove from heat. Add 3 cups KELLOGG’S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal. Stir until well coated. Press onto parchment paper. Now using a large heart shaped cookie cutter or press into the cookie cutter. When both colors are formed into hearts, use a small heart shaped cookie cutter and cut out small hearts. Swap into the opposite color heart and press into middles.
