I’m Kim Artlip, resident baker, blogger, podcaster, wife, and the face behind This Old Baker. Recipes are more than just directions and ingredients on how to make a particular dish. They are a throwback to a simpler time when you bonded with your grandmother, mother, aunt or friends. It is a shared experience that you cherish and recreate to feel that sense of connection.
I was fortunate to have so many incredible people over the years who have shared their favorite dishes and how to tips on how to make meals turn out amazing. I’d like to share some of that with you through these recipes that I learned and updated over the years
Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just starting your journey, join us as we share recipes, tips, and hacks to keep the oven warm and the smiles coming.
About
Kim Artlip is the visionary behind This Old Baker, a brand that celebrates timeless baking traditions and innovative recipes. As the author of five cookbooks under the This Old Baker mantle, Kim combines her love for baking with a passion for inspiring home cooks.
Before launching This Old Baker, Kim founded and locally sold a successful line of seasonings, spice rubs, and hot sauces through her previous company, IGNITE Eats. Her entrepreneurial spirit and culinary creativity continue to shape her work today.
When she’s not developing new recipes or pantry mixes, Kim enjoys cooking alongside her husband, Jeff. With a background as an editor, publisher, and graphic designer, she brings a unique creative touch to her work. Yet, it’s cooking and creating that truly center her, fueling her mission to share delicious recipes and lasting memories with others.
