Before we get started, let’s talk about the friendly tone we all love. When it comes to cooking, experimenting, and creating our own dishes, it’s essential to have fun and enjoy the process. So, grab your apron, roll up your sleeves, and let’s embark on this tasty adventure together!

First things first, let’s talk about the base of our Big Mac Smashburger Taco: the burger patty. You can choose to use pre-made patties or create your own using ground beef seasoned with your favorite spices. Don’t be afraid to add a personal touch here – after all, this is your creation!

Next up, we need to recreate the signature Big Mac sauce. You can experiment with your favorite condiments and flavors to achieve a similar tangy and creamy taste. Remember, there are no rules when it comes to customizing your own masterpiece.

To give your taco an extra crunch, consider adding shredded lettuce. It adds freshness and texture to every bite, just like in a classic Big Mac. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even try substituting lettuce with cabbage for a unique twist.

Now, let’s talk about the cheese. A Big Mac wouldn’t be complete without its iconic American cheese. However, feel free to explore different types of cheese that tickle your taste buds. From gooey cheddar to crumbled blue cheese, the choice is yours to make. Don’t be afraid to get creative!

Last but not least, the taco shell – a crucial element that holds everything together. You can opt for traditional corn tortillas or experiment with flour tortillas if you prefer a softer bite. Heck, you could even try using lettuce wraps as a low-carb alternative. Remember, this is your interpretation of the Big Mac Smashburger Taco, so feel free to mix things up!

As we wrap up our guide on making your own version of the Big Mac Smashburger Taco, remember that cooking should always be an enjoyable experience. Feel free to modify any ingredient, adjust the seasoning, or add your favorite toppings to suit your personal preferences. The journey of creating your own culinary masterpiece is all about having fun and exploring new flavors.

For the Big Mac Tacos (Smash Burger Tacos)

  • Mix the ground beef with salt and pepper.
  • Press a thin layer of beef onto the tortillas. Have them all ready before you begin cooking.
  • Preheat a hot skillet or griddle over high heat. It should be smoking.
  • Add a bit of oil to the pan and place one tortilla with the beef side down. Flatten/smash it using a flat surface. I used the bottom of a saucepan. Leave it there for 1-2 minutes and then flip.
