Two Ingredient Fudge
If you’re looking for a quick and indulgent treat, this Two Ingredient Fudge recipe is here to save the day! Perfect for holiday gatherings, last-minute desserts, or simply satisfying your sweet tooth, this recipe is so easy, it’s almost magic.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups chocolate chips (milk, dark, or semi-sweet—your choice!)
- 1 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk (or one 14 oz can)
- Nuts (optional, for added crunch and flavor)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Pan: Line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring the edges hang over the sides for easy removal later.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk to a large microwave-safe mixing bowl.
- Heat: Microwave the mixture at full power for one minute. Let it sit for another minute to allow the chocolate to soften further.
- Mix: Stir the mixture thoroughly until the sweetened condensed milk is fully incorporated and the fudge batter is smooth and glossy. If you’re adding nuts, fold them in at this stage.
- Pour Into Pan: Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan. Gently rap the bottom of the pan against your countertop a few times to eliminate any air bubbles and level the surface.
- Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator until the fudge is set and firm to the touch. This usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour.
- Slice and Serve: Once the fudge is set, use the parchment paper to lift it out of the pan. Cut into squares with a sharp knife and enjoy!
Tips for Success
- Choose Your Chocolate: Experiment with different types of chocolate chips to suit your taste. Dark chocolate makes for a rich and intense fudge, while milk chocolate creates a creamier, sweeter version.
- Enhance the Flavor: Add a pinch of salt, a splash of vanilla extract, or a sprinkle of sea salt on top for extra flair.
- Nutty Variations: Walnuts, pecans, or almonds make excellent additions for added texture and flavor.
This Two Ingredient Fudge is not only delicious but also endlessly customizable. Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just starting out, this foolproof recipe is bound to become a favorite. Whip up a batch today and experience how easy indulgence can be!
