Ingredients
2cupsall purpose flour
1cupdry milk powder
1/4cupcornstarch
1tbspfresh ground black pepper
1tbspsalt
2tsponion powder
1tspground poultry seasoning
Instructions
Whisk all ingredients together until well incorporated.
Store in an airtight jar for up to 6 months.
To use: Melt 2 tablespoons of fat (butter, shortening, sausage fat, bacon fat) in a sauce pan, add 3 tablespoons of gravy mix, cook on medium-low heat for 3 minutes (making a roux), then pour in 1 cup water or milk. Whisk and cook until thickened.

Notes
Add cooked sausage for sausage gravy, make the gravy with bacon grease and add cooked bacon for saw mill gravy, as any type of cheese for cheese sauce, use for a cream soup base and add cheese and broccoli for broccoli soup or potatoes for potato soup.Variations: Gluten free flour can be substituted for the all purpose flour, but extra cornstarch may be needed for thickening.
