Turkey Seasoning Rub
Adding turkey seasoning rub enhances the flavor and aroma of your turkey by infusing it with a blend of herbs and spices. It creates a savory crust that locks in moisture, ensuring a juicy and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons dried thyme
- 4 tablespoons dried rosemary
- 2 tablespoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoon dried sage
- 2 tablespoon sea salt or kosher salt
- 2 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar can be omitted if you want less sweet
- 3 teaspoons onion powder
- 3 teaspoons paprika
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl.
- Store in an airtight container in the pantry for up to 6 months.
- I recommend using 1 tablespoon of seasoning per pound of turkey that you’d like to season.
- To make a spicy turkey seasoning, add 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper to the mix.
