  • Break up the brown sugar so there are no hard lumps.
  • In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar and all spices.
  • Stir well until evenly mixed.
  • Funnel the mixture into a wide-mouth pint mason jar.
  • Seal tightly and store in a cool, dry place.
  • How to Use
  • With apple juice:
  • Add 2–3 tablespoons mix to 1 quart apple juice.
  • Heat gently until steaming. Do not boil.
  • With apple cider:
  • Add 1½–2 tablespoons mix to 1 quart apple cider.
  • Heat gently until steaming. Do not boil.
  • Stir well before serving, as spices may settle.

Notes

Sugar-Free Spiced Cider Mix Option
To make this recipe sugar-free, replace the brown sugar with one of the following:
1 cup brown monk fruit sweetener
or
1 cup erythritol brown blend
or
¾ cup allulose brown blend
