  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest, and mix until fully combined.
  • Stir in the flour and salt just until incorporated—don’t overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let cool completely before adding glaze (if using).

To Make the Glaze:

  • Whisk powdered sugar with lemon juice and zest until smooth. Drizzle over cooled blondies and let set before slicing.
