diced

jalapeño
finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)

red onion
finely diced

green onions
sliced

fresh cilantro
chopped
Juice of 1/2 lime
or a good squeeze

–2 teaspoons sugar
just a light touch

–1 teaspoon salt
to taste
Instructions
Add the tomatoes, jalapeño, red onion, green onion, and cilantro to a bowl.
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.
Sprinkle in the sugar and salt.
Stir everything together until well combined.
Let it sit for 10–15 minutes so the flavors can mingle.
Taste and adjust lime, salt, or sugar as needed.
Notes
Fresh salsa like this will keep about
3–5 days in the fridge
in a sealed container.
