Easy Cheeseburger Pie

This easy Cheeseburger Pie is simple, cozy comfort food made with seasoned ground beef, melty cheddar cheese, mayo, ketchup, and flaky store-bought pie crusts for a quick family dinner.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts 2 crusts
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Place one pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate and press gently into place.
  • Cook the Beef
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, mayonnaise, and ketchup until fully combined and creamy.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Assemble the Pie
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared pie crust.
  • Drizzle a little extra ketchup and mayonnaise over the beef mixture if desired.
  • Top evenly with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Place the second pie crust over the top and crimp the edges together. Cut a few slits in the top for venting.
  • Bake
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Allow pie to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Tips
Ground turkey or chicken can also be used.
American cheese can be substituted for extra cheeseburger flavor.
