  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease an 8-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the blackberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Gently stir until the berries are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the blackberry mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Cut the cold butter into the dry ingredients using a pastry cutter, fork, or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the blackberry filling.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the filling is bubbling around the edges and the topping is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the crumble to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
