Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, mix the cooled melted butter with the sugars until well combined. Stir in the egg and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips and pastel M&Ms.
  • Scoop the dough using a medium cookie scoop and place onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • While the cookies are baking, carefully slice a handful of M&Ms in half with a sharp knife—these will be your bunny ears.
  • When the cookies come out of the oven, gently press the M&M halves into the warm cookies next to any whole M&Ms that are already visible. If there aren’t many showing, press a few whole M&Ms into the tops first, then add the halves for ears.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
