Instructions

  • Layer pasta in the bottom of a clean pint jar.
  • In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over pasta.
  • Seal tightly and label with directions.
  • Store up to 12 months in a cool, dry pantry.
  • 🥄 Cooking Directions (for Jar Tag)
  • Pour entire jar contents into a large skillet.
  • Add:
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10–12 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
  • Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Stir again before plating.
  • ✨ Optional: Sprinkle with extra Parmesan or chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Pull off heat when sauce still looks slightly loose — it thickens as it sits. For richer sauce, substitute milk for part of the water. Stir in Parmesan right before serving (not in the jar — it clumps). Add cooked chicken and frozen peas in the last 2 minutes to make it a full meal.
