Beeswax Lip Balm

This Beeswax Lip Balm is made with simple ingredients and helps keep lips feeling soft, smooth, and protected from everyday dryness. Easy to make and perfect for gifting, it's a practical DIY project you'll find yourself reaching for all year long.

  • Add the beeswax, shea butter, and coconut oil to a heat-safe measuring cup or small jar.
  • Place the container in a saucepan with a few inches of simmering water.
  • Stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat and add essential oils, if using.
  • Carefully pour into lip balm tubes or tins.
  • Allow to cool completely before capping.
  • Makes: Approximately 6 lip balm tubes or 3–4 small tins.

Notes

Tips
For a firmer balm, add an extra teaspoon of beeswax.
For a softer balm, reduce the beeswax slightly.
Vanilla extract is not recommended because it contains water; use vanilla-infused oil or vanilla essential oil instead.
Store in a cool, dry place for up to a year.
