Homemade Ketchup

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 TB brown sugar
  • 1 TB onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 TB garlic powder
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan mix together all the ingredients till well combined. Bring mixture to a simmer over low/medium heat. Once simmering continue to simmer for 20 minutes. After simmering cool for 5 minutes before pouring into a container of choice and then placing in the fridge to chill for at least a hour before using.
  • Store ketchup in the fridge in an airtight container for 3-4 weeks.
